The original Nissan Clipper Truck is a compact two-seat kei pickup with a short cabin and an open dropside cargo bed. Its upright dashboard, simple door trims and practical seating suit commercial use. This entry covers the early U71T standard cab with the original black grille, introduced in October 2003 and replaced by a revised grille in December 2005. Panel vans, four-wheel-drive U72T trucks and later NT100 versions require separate identification.
